The ADA team at the Center for Image Sciences at the University of Continuing Education Krems will provide insights into the current development of multi-dimensional and multi-media tools linked to the Archive of Digital Art (ADA, www.digitalartarchive.at).

In two research projects, the team is engaged in a comprehensive further development of the Archive of Digital Art, founded in 1999 by Prof. Dr. Grau and today one of the most important, scientifically oriented online archives for the documentation of media art. By means of new interactive and immersive spaces of experience or interfaces, which are being developed by the partners Kunstuniversität Linz (directed by Prof. Sommerer) and Die Angewandte Wien (directed by Prof. Schnell), the project opens up prospects for expanded possibilities of perception and use of the archive.

Tiago Martins from Kunstuniversität Linz will present the HoloLens-based project Ar(t)chive, which makes the documented oeuvre of the artist duo Sommerer & Mignonneau virtually walkable and experienceable.

After the presentations the Center for Image Science invites to wine & snacks.

For participation we kindly ask for registration until 6.12.22 at zbw@donau-uni.ac.at.
